Summer Loving

December is finally here!! That only means three things - summer, shopping, and Christmas!! And to top it all off, I am officially a high school graduate so no more high school ever! It's about 3 weeks into my summer holidays now and I've just been hanging out with friends, going on many long awaited shopping sprees, and working.

Since it's summer now, I thought I'd share some of the products I've been loving for the summer recently!

Laura Mercier oil free foundation primer - ever since using this, it noticeably lessens the likelihood of my foundation looking like an absolute mess by the end of the day, and it controls my oil much better than not using a primer at all. It also allows for a more flawless application of my foundation. I like to use this primer, then my foundation, then top it off with some Mac pressed blot powder.
Tarte amazonian clay 12-hour blush - for some reason not all blushes stay on my cheeks for the entire day, but I can count on this blush to stay on when I come home from a long day of work. This way I know I can still look healthy and glowing while soaking up some well deserved sun on the beach! I use the shade 'exposed' which is a nude/pink colour - perfect to add some glow to your skin!
Nars bronzer - now this is my must have for summer! I have this in the well known shade 'laguna'. It adds the most gorgeous summer glow to your face and you can never go wrong with this product. The fact that it isn't all too pigmented is a plus for me as I can load my brush up and not look like an oompa loompa - yikes... All the hype about this product is definitely worth it!
Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain - I love using these stains and topping it off with a gloss, and when you apply this quite opaque it does not budge, it's cray cray seriously. But if you just dab it onto your lips it does fade off through out the day, and for me it flakes off, leaving my lips looking all chappy. But this can be fixed by applying your favourite lip balm probably every hour over this stain. I own the shades 'smitten' and 'sweetheart'. One of my favourite combinations would be sweetheart topped with Nars' lip gloss in 'ophelia'.
Nars larger than life long-wear eyeliner - from the very first time I swatched this in store up until today, this is by far my absolute favourite eyeliner. I have the shade 'via vaneto' which is just a black. You have to see it to believe it, next time you go to Mecca Cosmetica make sure you swatch this eyeliner, leave it on your hand for about 10 seconds then rub furiously at it. It wont budge. Insane hey!! And as you swatch it you will notice how smooth it glides on and how pigmented it is. Especially since I love to tight line my eyes, this eyeliner is so ideal for me because I know it wont budge on my lash line and water line - win!

So those are my summer must haves, all are very summer friendly indeed. Embrace this beautiful sunny weather that we are experiencing at the moment because before you know it, autumn will be here! Happy summer holidays everyone! xx
